Teen Art Contest 2025
We invite teens to submit art pieces that reflect your artistic journey where you have experimented, taken risks, and created artworks that matter. You are encouraged to combine curiosity and imaginative thinking to create work that is expressive, thoughtful, and truly your own.

Preparing youth for the next step in their creative journeys
Teen Programs at ECU Continuing Studies offer excellent preparation for post-secondary education and future careers. Through hands-on art-making you will have access to experienced instruction and Emily Carr University’s amazing studios, equipment and community.

Courses + Workshops
An engaging and accessible art and design experience for creative youth at all levels of experience.
Teen Art Group
An after school program in collaboration with the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Youth Art + Culture Lab
A weekend program in collaboration with the Richmond Art Gallery.
Spring Break Art Camp
A week-long exploration of foundational creative skills and practices to open up new possibilities for expression.
Junior Arts Institute
In summer, a two-week immersive exploration of art and design practices for young creatives.
Summer Institute for Teens
An immersive, one-month experience that engages teens through creative practices.
