Faculty and Staff Support for Zoom, AV Systems + Zoom, AirMedia, and the new Videoconference carts.

The Collaborative Technologies Support (CTS) team is available to assist faculty and staff on how to use:

  • The AV systems in rooms with Zoom

  • AirMedia (wireless presentation) in classrooms, studios, labs, and meeting rooms

  • Using Zoom

If you need immediate support in a room, call CTS Support at (604) 630-4559, and a CTS Tech will answer the phone. You can also pick up the Emily Carr phones in the hallways and dial the CTS hotkey.

Book a time for orientation of a room’s AV systems by contacting IT Services.

  • Video Conferencing Carts
    There are two video conferencing carts available to sign out from Media Resources. The carts are designed to support Zoom calls for small groups (4-10 people) in spaces without built-in AV equipment. The carts have a 70" monitor, a Logitech Meet-up camera with a built-in microphone, and a Mac Mini computer to log into your ECU Zoom account.
    Make a booking for the carts by contacting Media Resources: mediaresouces@ecuad.ca.
